" The current home was originally designed to be added to an earlier 1965 house as it stood. But while digging the foundation for the new section, an earthquake occurred severe enough to dislodge the foundation of the old house. Subsequently, that house was taken down to the studs with new footings poured under it. An entirely new multi-level structure was then constructed beginning in 2008 and completed in 2010.
