All of the old shingles were removed and the entire substructure was inspected as part of the project. New gutters were installed and in 2012 ''Gutter guards'' were installed making the entire gutter system maintenance free. Also that year a Hunter sprinkler system was installed that covers all of the lawns including back orchard and has drip irrigation in all of the beds. The orchard also houses an octagonal cedar gazebo built by the Amish community in St. Ignatius. There is a large wraparound deck with a Bull Frog hot tub. Two sheds are roomy enough for your fishing raft and other toys and a small greenhouse off the back of the garage will allow you to get a jump-start on summer planting for flowers and veggies. Fishing access is only steps from your deck. Among the many critters that they regularly see on Rainbow Bend are big horn sheep, deer, elk, bald and golden eagles, osprey, blue heron, river otters, bobcats, humming birds, songbirds and yes even the occasional black bear.
