One, a single family, two bedroom home; the other a three unit 1920's Craftsman, set up and running as short term furnished vacation rentals. These properties have been in the possession of the same family for the last 91 years. Both properties as a single purchase could be the perfect live work opportunity for the right person, couple, or family. However, we invite offers on each property independent of the other. The main house 425 was built from a Green and Green blue print purchased by thousands of contractors during the era of it's construction. It is documented as having been built in 1920. Electricity arrived in San Pedro in 1911. The ceiling fixtures were fitted with gas lines originally and wired much later than 1920. The 2 story 1923 rear house was originally built as a porte cochere. The only enclosure on the ground floor was the garage. Most of the second floor was elevated on stilts, over an area where horses were kept. According to the seller's grandparents, the area was enclosed to create the third unit around 1942.All units are in operation as furnished, short term vacation units. The Craftsman built ins are unusually well preserved, and the units are well appointed with a distinctive nod to the early 20th Century. The front house 425 can book on Air bnb, VRBO etc. as two separate units with their own exterior entrances or they can be combined into one unit for larger groups. 427 (upstairs) can sleep up to 4 with it's 2 bedrooms and living room convertible sofa. 429 (down stairs rear) can sleep two comfortably and a third on the daybed. The vacation rentals have enjoyed nearly full occupancy since we began the project four years ago. All the units are currently occupied, but can be viewed by arrangement.
