Large farm house with 56 acres off on a dead end road located between Canton, Heuvelton & Gouverneur. The interior has been renovated and includes 5 fireplaces 2 propane & 3 electric. The full bath and laundry as well as a oversized bedroom with fireplace are all on the main floor. There is both a front and back porch, with the back more like a three season room. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a 1/2 bath and a large room suitable for an office, playroom, living room, or many other possibilities. The Amish built exterior building is insulated on the sides and has power. Currently it houses a hot tub*, but with a little work would make a fantastic 'man cave', 'she shed' or guest house. (*hot tub has not been used in years owner is unsure if it works.) Most of the lot is wooded and there are several types of trees. The owner says the lot is great for hunting and during my visit I saw several turkey and deer down past the Dead End sign. There is a pond in the portion furthest away from the house. The lot is approx. 2/10th of a mile from the house towards the road (doesn't go all the way to highway) then .39 of a mile from the house down into the dead end dirt road area.
