Just off the living room, through a stunningly patinated door, is the main bedroom, which is clad with infinite storage and trimmed in brushed aluminum. Vintage brass and copper naval ship lamps are beautifully suspended from the ceiling, and a small window was carved out to install a genuine antique English leaded window to finish out this magical space. There are additional dedicated storage areas accessible from the main living area, including two lofted spaces –one close to the entry which could also serve as exhibition for art, and a second at the other end of the home with built-in stairs leading to a queen bed for guests or quiet reading. Past the stairs is a spa bathroom complete with an infrared sauna, to penetrate deep into the skin tissue for a zen experience and full body restoration. In this smart home, all windows are original metal frame professionally-restored antiques with reglazed original panels. Most doors are salvaged and restored, the home has original exposed brick throughout, has 13-feet ceilings of original exposed heart pine roof and framing.
