This property will take you back in time. It is thought that this home was first a log home dating back to 1875 per county records. The walls were log in the main part of the home (see evidence in the landing of the stairway to the upper level from the living room which have now been covered but small area protected by glass). Log beams still exists in the living room but the walls are now drywall. The bedroom and room used as full bath were added in the late 1990's however the Health department could not locate a file. Property is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS. WARNING: Please note that the room off the bedroom is not accessible due to roof and water damage and not safe to walk into. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR TO THE ADDITION IN THE REAR OFF THE BEDROOM AND NOT MAKE ACCESS TO IT.-Unsafe due to water damage from roof issue. This home needs some work to correct the roof and water issue on the back part of the home to replace the former full bathroom. The older part and the addition to the left of the home are in average to good condition. Probably will not qualify for financing unless you get a rehab loan. County has issued a letter that the 12 acres can not be subdivided since some divisions were previously made.
