A step back in time...From Rte 413 on to Groveland Rd, make a right turn, and as you look in the distance this is a property that will remind you of days gone by. Wide open farm fields, a stately home, a large red barn, silo, pole barn, and wash house can be seen in the distance. You will enter the home through the side door, for everyday use, after walking to the home on a brick and paver walkway, the door is covered with a portico to protect you from the weather. A Foyer with a slate floor and coat closet greets you. To the right is a small room, currently used as an Office. These two rooms were originally a porch with a 2nd floor porch above (now the primary suite bath). To the left of the foyer is the Family Room- A walk-in fireplace currently housing a woodstove (never used by the current owner) is flanked by closets on both sides. Additional closet and one of two staircases to the 2nd floor are across the room. There are hardwood floors here and throughout most of the home - some original, some newer. Navigate those steps down to the 2nd level to Bedroom 3, a sweet little "yellow room". It is currently carpeted but the Seller believes you may find hardwoods under. At the end of this open hallway is the full bath - which is ready for an update. As you proceed to Bedroom 4 look out the window to see the metal roof and solar panels. This is the owner's favorite room. It somehow just oozes charm. There is a wide division with a door that takes you to the other staircase to the attic level.
