The property is known as the Cooper House, formerly owned by Dr. Tom Cooper and his family. Dr. Cooper was one of the first physicians in Davis. We believe that it was Dr. Cooper's home when Davis was a small agricultural community with a new college that was the farm for UC Berkeley. The home that was constructed in 1928 in a Georgian colonial architectural style later became an office in the 1960's- 70's. Doctor Cooper's heirs , sold the building to their tenants, the current owners, nearly a decade ago. The property went through exhaustive inspections and attractive enhancements when it was acquired.
