The City of Maize annexed this property and it remains zoned as residential. The property is zoned to allow a Residential Design Manufactured Home and one horse per acre. Be sure to follow the City of Maize zoning code for placing a Design Manufactured Home on the property. To clarify, SF-5 zoning does not permit single-wide mobile home and standard double-wide mobile homes. Since the property is so close to having five full acres the City of Maize Planning & Zoning department stated, they would probably round up the acreage and allow five horses on this property. Maize adopted the same animal regulations as the City of Wichita. Even though tax records still show but the water well, septic system and some old buildings were removed leaving only the barn standing. No survey have been done but it is believed that the fence and/or treeline serves as the boundary lines. The property will not quality for a conventional, FHA, VA or USDA loan.
