Located on the more desirable Ocean Blvd, this home was built as a primary residence, but is currently on a vacation rental program (over $260,000 gross rental income in 2018 not counting taxes/fees). This home has the best views since the houses on either side were built closer to the street, allowing more expansive panoramic views for you! There is plenty of room for guests as the home is furnished to sleep 14 (rental license may allow 15) in 6 bedrooms, 4 with ensuite baths. The gunite in-ground pool has an integral ''South Beach-worthy'' hot tub/spa that can accommodate a crowd. The 'wet patio' at one end of the pool is a great place for kids to play or for in-water lounge chairs or even dining!The living areas are spacious for entertaining and large family gatherings. The huge oceanfront great room features a brand new flat-screen TV above the handsome gas fireplace, if you can look away from the glorious, panoramic ocean views. The study off the great room has a wet bar with ice-maker.

The oceanfront dining room has an extra long table. An additional comfy ocean-gazing hang-out area is located in the large alcove between the dining room and kitchen. A glass door leads to a covered porch with cozy sofas. Head down the stairs if you are in the mood to dine al fresco in the covered dining area next to the pool. The oceanfront breakfast room with spectacular corner views is a great place for your morning coffee. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises if you are an early riser or watch the dolphins and para-sailors almost daily. Even cloudy or rainy days are stunningly beautiful as the sea changes colors. Surprisingly, although not west-facing, the sky and ocean reflect the pink and yellow of the daily sunsets, too.

The chefs' kitchen has handsome white wood cabinetry with cookbook shelves, wine storage and glass-front display cabinets, plus a long bi-level peninsula with bar stools. The kitchen has some of the best panoramic views in the house since it is open to the corner breakfast area and previously mentioned family room and has ocean views out the side kitchen windows as well.

Appliances include Sub-zero refrigerator, stainless steel Bosch dishwasher, glass cooktop with pop-up downdraft, built-in microwave and wall oven. Corian counters (more practical for rental homes than granite) and a tile back-splash make clean-up a breeze.

All living areas and three of the bedrooms have hardwood floors (other three bedrooms have carpet). The interior of the home has been freshly painted and much of the furniture and many of the fixtures are new. All interior and exterior furnishings can convey.

While there is a downstairs master bedroom and bath, the upstairs master bedroom is enormous with oceanfront bay window seating and a private oceanfront deck, plus access to an upstairs oceanfront covered porch shared with two other bedrooms. The ocean-view master bathroom (recently renovated) has a separate room for the soaking tub and shower. The dressing room has two sinks and the huge closet could easily be partitioned for an ''owners' closet'' if desired.

There is one oceanfront guest bedroom with an en suite bath and another oceanfront bedroom with a bath shared with the "bunk room." Yet another "master" bedroom on the front of the house with its own bath completes the upper level.

All upstairs bedrooms are accessible by elevator. All bathrooms have corian counters or pedestal sinks. All closets have custom wood shelving.

The 2017 City of Isle of Palms Local Comprehensive Beach Management Plan (available online) explains that "There are two types of shoreline zones on the Isle of Palms: unstabilized inlet zones at each end, and a standard zone in the center." This home is located in the approximately three mile long standard zone between 6th Avenue and 47th Avenue. There is a "persistent, long-term trend of accretion" at this end of the island, the opposite of erosion! Another interesting fact is that the Isle of Palms varies in width from 0.35 miles at this end to 1.6 miles at the other end. There are fewer homes per foot of beach on this peaceful end of the island! Plus, no public on-street parking in front of this home makes it much quieter during the summer.

Please verify with your insurance agent, but it looks like the flood zone will be changing soon from VE 19 to VE 13! This should mean the cost of insurance will be less.

This location is approximately midway between the Isle of Palms Connector bridge and the Breach Inlet bridge to Sullivans Island, making it quick and easy to drive downtown or to the airport. There are many great restaurants and shopping on the two islands and in upscale Mount Pleasant. There are nearby boat ramps and boat slips for sale or for rent. The Isle of Palms recreation center has tennis courts and fitness classes. Wild Dunes Resort has a Harbor Friends Golf Program offering VIP access to its Harbor Course & other perks (low annual membership fee).
