As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere. The main floor features a well-appointed living area with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of adventure. One of the highlights of this lakeside retreat is its proximity to the water. Just steps away from the house, you'll find yourself on the edge of the glistening lake. Imagine waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee while taking in the serene views or having a picnic by the water's edge. For those who love water activities, canoes and kayaks are available for guests to use, allowing you to explore the tranquil lake at your own pace. Paddle along the shorelines, discover hidden coves, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
The canoes and kayaks are shared with the property next door. Street parking is restricted. Trash is in the single car garage to the left of the driveway. Life vests for the canoes and kayaks are hung up in the woodshed between this property and the one next door and are also shared with next door.
Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, this property offers the best of both worlds. With its rustic lake house feel, convenient access to the water, and a fantastic game room, it's an ideal getaway for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking for a serene lakeside retreat.
We offer 24/7 messaging but cannot always offer maintenance or staff to attend after 5 pm or before 9 am. We will do our best to resolve your needs and requests as quickly as possible once we have staff available. We offer just about everything you need to get started such as coffee, soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, but please understand we offer enough to start your trip and any extras you need you will be responsible for. The bedrooms are small but the location cannot be beat. Note that the water in this area has a naturally occurring sulfur smell, which is common and safe. While it may have a distinct odor, it's perfectly fine for use. We recommend guests bring bottled water for drinking, if preferred. Window units will be installed by Memorial Day through the end of September or early October. This unit is not baby-proofed. If you need any baby-proofing for your stay, please be sure to bring your own devices with you. Weekly and monthly stays are welcome.
