Pictures are worth a thousand words and my hope is that they portray not only the stunning renovation of this 1916 Historic home but also help tell the story of its past; this home was once owned by Mr. Almeron Whitehead who founded the Birmingham Observer and Eccentric. There will be a wonderful article published in the Mother’s Day issue that you won’t want to miss. The current owner was meticulous and careful to restore the home with the original intricate details but adding the amenities and luxuries we have come to expect. The features and renovations are too extensive to list so I have included it as an attachment in the listing documents. Hundreds of thousands of dollars went into the project and suffice to say that nothing was overlooked. 927 Purdy was recently added to the Birmingham Historic Registry and very well deserved!
