You will be 3 short miles from the Golden Gate Bridge and preserve access to San Francisco's culture and vibe. With the ferry terminal literally within a 5-minute walk, you can be in the Financial District or SOMA quicker than taking the Muni from some parts of SF. Marin Headlands, Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpis, amazing beaches - all will be in your back yard, ready for hiking.
