Call it what you will, this is a unique opportunity for an end owner user or investor to purchase an entry level single family residence in an “A” location. Walk to Civic Arts Plaza or The Lakes. Walk Score of 71 – “Very Walkable, most errands can be accomplished on foot.” This is good as the property has a carport, but lacks a garage. Built in 1956 as a one bedroom, permits show that the second bedroom was added in 1961. There is a storage shed that may have originally been permitted as the “garage” and was too full of junk to take a peek inside – buyer should verify if it was legally permitted. Both the main structure and storage appear to be block wall construction (except for what we think is the addition area) with pitched composite roof. There might be potential for the backyard in the form of deck but you will need to check with the City on that. Right now the back is limited to a narrow patio, retaining wall and an upward sloping hillside. Kitchen has tile floors, granite (or a material that looks like granite) counter tops, freestanding range/oven, dishwasher and adjacent laundry nook. Living room has a fireplace and dining area. It is a small lot, but there is redevelopment potential and the location certainly warrants it. Check out the photos.
