The Garland Rodes Apartments is located in The Historical District of Lynchburg, Virginia. Our community is a fully renovated historic property that was previously used as a schoolhouse. The classic revival-style school was designed by famed Lynchburg architect Stanhope Johnson in 1921 and had been vacant since its former occupant, the Virginia School of the Arts, in 2011. The Garland Rodes Apartments now boast 30 apartments ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedroom apartments.
