This property has all the potential for an excellent hunting camp with land on both sides of Bayou des Cannes. Call Steve Templin in advance for permission to view this tract and for the access code for a locked gate.

This tract is located 5 miles south of Mamou, Louisiana and 3 miles north of Eunice. As you travel south of Highway 13 from Mamou, you come to the Community of Fenris. In Fenris turn east on L’Anse Meg Road for 2 miles until you come to a stop sign. Turn south (right) on Headless Bridge Road until you reach a locked gate. You will need to call Steve Templin at (318) 446-1190 to get the code to the gate. This road will lead you to the portion of the tract that is located north of Bayou des Cannes.

Approximately 138 acres lies on the north side of Bayou des Cannes and 59 acres lies on the south side.

The north side of the bayou has the following vegetation types:
14 acres of farmland
10 acres of pines
96 acres of mixed hardwoods/pines
13 acres of low, cypress swamp in two areas

To access the south side of Bayou des Cannes from LA 13, turn east on Soileau Road for two miles, and you will see a gravel offset with a farm road leading to the north. Park your vehicle along the road and take an ATV to the tract, approximately 1 mile. Mr. Mike Fruge has given permission to travel this road to inspect the Pucheu tract. There are no gates or locks.
Approximately 59 acres are located south of Bayou des Cannes, with 23 acres of mixed pine/hardwoods along the bayou and 36 acres of pines planted in 1998.
