The forest is a mixture of tree species with spruce, fir, pine, cedar, maples, birch, poplar and others. A recent timber harvest thinned about ⅔ of the land leaving the remaining lands untouched insuring a desirable uneven aged forest into the future. Secondly the utility clearing provides edge cover that whitetail deer appreciate.
The property has several water features including about 3,400 +/- feet of frontage on Johnson Brook. 2 private ponds totaling about 2 acres of surface area have about 1,500 +/- waterfront. An unnamed brook runs through the property for an additional 2,500 +/- feet. There are a number of places along more than a mile of brooks and pond frontage that would be a great place to build a remote woods cabin getaway.
