About Pearl Place Apartments

The oldest part of Pearl Place was originally built in 1893 as a school. It underwent several additions, changed from being a high school to a middle school, and then was later converted to an Affordable Housing apartment complex for seniors, which is what it was when Gorman & Company bought and took over the property in 2023, and what it still is today. Gorman & Company almost immediately began renovations on the building, updating and remodeling each apartment while working to restore and preserve the building's historic charm. We are proud to offer a variety of amenities including a courtyard with grills, elevators, a laundry room on every floor, on-call maintenance, a community room, a fitness center, and - soon - computers for resident use. Our 1- and 2-bedroom senior apartments are located in the heart of Belvidere, just off of State St and Logan Ave, situating it within walking distance to a myriad of local shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants, the Belvidere Community Building, and everything else downtown Belvidere has to offer. *Pearl Place Apartments is an Equal Housing Opportunity.
