River Commons Apartments is a 116-unit market rate and income restricted apartment community located in downtown Wilmington, DE. The community contains 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom apartments, each offering fully-equipped kitchens, washer and dryer hookups in each apartment, central air, porches/balconies, private entrances and extra storage. The community includes an on-site management office, off-street parking lot and 24/7 emergency maintenance. Located within walking distance to the downtown financial district and the Wilmington riverfront, the complex is conveniently located near public transit, including several bus routes and is adjacent to the Wilmington Amtrak Station. River Commons accepts tenant based housing choice vouchers. This property participated in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, and in addition to market rate apartments, there are set asides for lower income households. To qualify for the low income apartments, households must have less than 60% of the area median income.
