When we first contacted Eve we were not sure where we wanted to live and we were not ready to relocate. Although she knew it would be a while before we were ready to start looking seriously she spent time with us just showing us around . I've bought and sold a lot of homes in the past twenty years, and have found finding a competent realtor is a bit more challenging than finding a home. With that said, I was less than enthusiastic about finding another realtor when looking for a home in Reston. Met Eve during an Open House she was hosting, and immediately hired her after talking to her for about 30 minutes. I found that she is definitely an expert in her field, extremely knowledgeable about Reston, and most importantly --- listened to my needs/desires in a home. We were quickly able to narrow my search and find the perfect home in less than a couple weeks. Closing went flawless. Bottom line: you can't go wrong using Eve for your real estate needs. Period.

2007: Eve Thompson was extremely patient and helpful in finding us a home a Reston, VA. In addition, she researched and connected us to a very successful agent in Southern Maryland (Dawn Riley of Long and Foster) to help us sell our home in Calvert County. In relocating back to Virginia, Eve spent many weekends assisting us to find just the right home that would accommodate our family, including a senior in-law. She also put us in touch with contractors that could help us make the in-law area more inviting and safe for my Mom. Eve always made time for us and it paid off well. Thanks to Eve, we found the most beautiful and perfect home in Reston, VA. The entire process of offer, purchase, and to the settlement table was handled with a high level of expertise and professionalism. And, she continued to be of support to us as questions arose regarding the area. 2010: We had decided to purchase a beach home that would be our ultimate retirement home in Delaware. Again, Eve researched and found us one of the best and most successful agents in Sussex County (Bill Cullin of Long and Foster). We purchased our beach home and later that year, Eve listed our home in Reston, VA. Based on the market at that time, we thought it could take up to a year to sell; however, with Eve's expertise and marketing, our home sold in approximately three weeks. There were challenges to get us through to the settlement process (a property & fence line debate with a neighbor, unusual requests from the buyers, etc...); however, Eve handled these challenges in a calm, professional, and polite manner to the satisfaction of all parties and we settled on time.
