About Jonathan

Born in Puerto Rico, Jonathan Rivera moved to Tampa with his family in 1984. Growing up in Tampa Bay, Jonathan has lived in various neighborhoods throughout the area and has a deep knowledge of the communities that make up Tampa Bay. Jonathan brings over 25 years of experience, with 16 years working through the downturn of the market in the lending industry with large Wall Street firms including HSBC and Goldman Sachs. Deciding on altering his career path, but using the experience he had gained during the first chapter of his career, he was first licensed as a Realtor in Florida in 2016. Then, deciding to challenge himself and serve his clients & customers better he obtained his Florida Broker's license in 2021. Jonathan has first hand experience understanding risk analysis, financing, and contracts which gives him a unique perspective when working with buyers on finding the perfect home at the right price. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys spending time on the water....from the Hillsborough River to the offshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Jonathan is a competitive dragon boat & outrigger canoe paddler who competes nationally and internationally. Jonathan is fluent in both English & Spanish.
