Abigail Ahrens

Known for her quick wit, ready smile and genuine caring, Abby Ahrens says her greatest success in 36 years of real estate and development is her reputation for being the real Dear Abby.

Abby successfully runs her own real estate office, she has received a continuum of production awards and has served as President of the South County Real Estate Board, Director, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Los Altos Board, as well as a state-wide delegate to the California Association of Realtors. She has been selected numerous times by governmental agencies for appointment to boards and committees dealing with land use in Los Altos and in Santa Clara County. She has won awards for advertising, building design, and cross-country exchanges.

The only two-time winner of the Public Service Award, she has left her mark, be it the donation of the historic Los Altos Hills Heritage House or coordinating volunteers to construct Los Altos gazebo in Lincoln Park, developing a bevy of new heirloom housing, rich in historical design, but mostly in the hearts of everyone she helps.

Abby has been named the TOP 10 MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE in Los Altos and Los Altos Hills by the local newspaper. She loves the challenge of financial analysis, and the satisfaction of helping others, but after all these years, she is still having a love affair with the land starting with ideas and seeing them become reality, being a builder of dreams.
