Adam Kaye is the President and Broker of Art District Real Estate (www.ArtDistrict.com). For the last 20 years he has been growing Tallahassee, Florida's Art District. The portfolio now consists of almost 200,000 square feet of commercial real estate spread across multiple sites within the city's urban core.
Today, this community consists of almost 150 creative micro businesses, artists, galleries, shops, restaurants, & non-profits. Through his collaboration with the community and local government, a walkable, bike-able, live/work/play urban corridor is emerging where diversity, inclusion, creativity, and commerce converge.
In addition to real estate development, Adam Kaye has had the pleasure of working with muralists, having personally curated over 25 murals and other public art projects, turning the exteriors of his buildings into free public art galleries, which has become the most photographed area of the city. One of the most iconic murals he curated is by local Artist, Kenny Maguire, who depicted an incredible rendition of "Alice in Wonderland" depicting both Alice and the Queen of hearts as African-American women, defying traditional literary stereotypes.
In his personal life, Adam enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, foreign languages (Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese), and traveling (63 countries visited) where he seeks out "cool and creative spaces" throughout the world for ideas and inspiration he can bring back to The Art District.
