About Alan

Alan was born and raised in Centralia IL, working whenever he could as a carpenter for his father who was the president and owner of DePew and Owen Builders Inc. After finishing high school and college, Alan and his wife lived in Centralia eventually moving to Hoffman IL where they raised their two daughters. Alan continued his career with DePew and Owen on the office side of the business, working as an Estimator and Project Manager. In 1992, Alan was promoted to vice president of the company and then president from 2003-2017.

During this time, Alan was involved in the Centralia community serving on various boards and committees including serving as president of both the Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce and the Southern IL Builders Association in O’Fallon, IL.

Alan has now opened a new chapter in his book by stepping away from the construction part of Real Estate where he had more than 30 years of experience in managing residential, commercial, and industrial projects, and jumping full force into the sales side of the Real Estate world.

He has a strong focus on Commercial and Industrial Sales and Property Management throughout Central and Southern Illinois, yet he welcomes any Residential clients as well. Alan will be an excellent asset for any client in the Real Estate market.
