Alex Ibarra began his career with J. P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. as a Commercial Intern in January 2019. That valuable opportunity allowed him to gain an in-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate industry through collaboration with agents, staff, and the real estate community. Alex graduated magna cum laude from Wichita State University in December 2020 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance and Entrepreneurship Real Estate and minors in Marketing and Personal Selling.
Throughout his time at WSU, Alex earned various recognitions for his community involvement and academic achievements. His accolades include KHEDF’s 2020 Outstanding Scholar; Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Rising Star of the Year; WSU Student of the Year Finalist; Mortar Board Legacy Award, and numerous real estate and entrepreneurship scholarships. His involvement in Barton International Group, a student-run consulting group, Sigma Lambda Beta Int. Fraternity, Inc., Hispanic American Leadership Organization, and Mortar Board Honor Society highlighted Alex’s ability to demonstrate his leaderships skills through multiple roles.
Alex believes his strong work ethic and driven philosophy will carry over to his real estate career. His strong belief in meaningful relationships, clear communication, determination and perseverance is of the utmost importance in assisting his clients to accomplish their real estate needs.
