Alex Kennett

Alex has been a licensed professional since July 1977, bringing decades of experience across both military and civic service. A proud veteran, Alex served for 30 years in the U.S. Army and National Guard, where he held roles as a helicopter pilot, artilleryman, and administrator. His distinguished military career includes leadership of six military commands.

In addition to his military service, Alex is an elected official, currently serving as the Director for District 1 of the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority, where he works to preserve and protect natural resources for the community.

Alex is also a proud parent of four children and grandparent to eight—though he jokingly claims to have "zero sanity" left, a nod to his full and lively family life.
