Alex is originally from Cuba and moved to Las Vegas in 1997. Before he left the Island, he studied tourism and worked at some of Cuba's finest resorts. There, he was able to learn several languages including English, Italian, and German. When he got to the States, he took all the knowledge and skills acquired in Cuba and put them to work in some of the finest hotels and casinos in the famous Las Vegas Strip. He soon fell in love with the business of Real Estate, gave up the gaming industry, and never looked back.
Alex has been in the real estate business for over twenty years and is very experienced in all aspects of residential, commercial, and land transactions. He is currently a member of many professional associations including The National Association of Realtors (NAR), The Nevada Association of Realtors (NVR), The Las Vegas Association of Realtors (LVAR), The Multiple Listing Service (MLS), The Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV), and The Better Business Bureau (BBB). He is the recipient of many top producer awards and recognitions, and holds several certifications such as the prestigious Accredited Buyers's Representative (ABR) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS). His passion for Real Estate ultimately pushed him to get his Broker license and open Dream Homes Portfolio Realty in Las Vegas, NV, specializing in Residential, Commercial, and Land Sales.
Alex keeps up to date with market trends, education, and statistics while constantly acquiring new skills to better serve his agents and clients.
