Alex Yankee

Alex Yankee was born and raised in Sonoma County and has lived in numerous neighborhoods in Sonoma Valley, as well as Petaluma. This experience has given him a true appreciation for the unique qualities that make various neighborhoods special, each one having its own valuable attributes. This depth of knowledge benefits all of Alex’s clients, whether on the buying or selling side of a real estate transaction.

Alex has had his Broker’s license since 2013. Along with his wife Madeline, he owns and operates a vacation rental and estate management firm, leading an enthusiastic staff who share their passion for real estate and hospitality. His intimate knowledge of the vacation rental and real estate market throughout Sonoma Valley has resulted in a keen interest to find the perfect home for his buyer clients, based on their own specific needs.

Alex has a work ethic that is second to none. He believes in putting in the hands-on, hard work necessary to accomplish his and his client’s goals, balanced with an appreciation for the technology and marketing that is vital to today’s market. He enjoys helping clients buy and sell homes, problem-solving unique transactions, and helping clients realize their property’s full potential. Alex is a former president, and current member, of a highly regarded local non-profit, and is well integrated into the local community. He has coached Little League, volunteers often, and supports our Sonoma community at the ground level. A dedicated family man, Alex enjoys spending time with his children and planning new adventures to enjoy together. He lives an active lifestyle, starting with his time as a competitive swimmer, to running Spartan obstacle races, fishing, and other activities. He enjoys working hard, does not shy away from a challenge, and enjoys getting out of his comfort zone.
