Alexandra “Sandy” Hodkin was born and raised in Manchester, England, where she lived with her parents and five siblings. After college she went to work for the British Embassy in Bonn Germany, then off to Washington DC. where the life style and weather encouraged her to apply for a Green Card.Her passion for food, wine and service resulted in her purchasing a French Restaurant in Crystal City, Alexandria, Virginia called “Chez Froggy” which lead to her working for some of the most prestigious Catering Companies in the Washington DC area, creating large and small events for congress, local companies, brides, charity events, and homeowners making her a million dollar producer. Sandy after 30 years of owning property on Capitol Hill and Chevy Chase, she decided to become a licensed realtor. Moved with her husband, two children and three dogs and bought a new home in Winter Garden, Florida. She continued with her catering career but spending more time with her new love of ceramics, creating pieces of art out of clay that were recognized and sold in some art galleries and local shows in Alexandria VA, Washington DC, Winter Garden FL, Winter Park FL, and Cocoa Beach . Her husband a disabled Marine Corp Veteran needed to take early retirement, so Sandy acquired her Florida real estate licensed to be able to create her own schedule. Moved to Cocoa Beach to live on the Beach! Recently Sandy and husband purchased river front property to add to their investment portfolio. Sandy’s skills include: managing rental property, purchasing, selling beachside and waterfront properties. Sandy has taken several credits in Short Sales, Bank Owned, VA Loans and Construction Loans and has become the Relocation Specialist for Patrick Air Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Station.
