Alice grew up in the Charleston area attending Garrett High School and graduated from the College of Charleston in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, a minor in Education, and a minor in Chemistry. After graduation from college, she taught science classes on many different levels at Fort Dorchester High School until 2006 when she decided to turn in her resignation so that she could spend more time growing the family business. Presently, Alice resides in Summerville with her three daughters and several fur babies.
