Alice Jennett

Providing information and teaching have always been a part of Alice's work. Prior to her real estate career, Alice was an information specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Lockheed Aircraft. She also taught third grade in the Chicago Public School System. Alice continues to teach from time to time by participating in Homebuyer Seminars and has also taught adult education classes at Harold Washington College.

Active in both professional and community organizations, Alice has served on the Board of Directors with the Chicago Association of Realtors. She is also a past president of the local chapter of Women's Council of Realtors, and she served as chair of the Housing Ministry, Trinity United Church of Christ. Alice was instrumental in the founding of the Sara L. Spurlark Award Committee, which annually honors outstanding seniors from Kenwood Academy, a high school in the Hyde Park Community.
