A long time Wimberley resident and native Texan, Alice is solidly knowledgeable in the Wimberley and surrounding Hill Country real estate market. After graduating from Texas State University with a degree in marketing, Alice began her career in real estate with the encouragement of her parents, longtime successful Brokers, Dorothy and Eddie Gumbert. Utilizing this exposure to the real estate arena, along with her skills in research, organization, and attention to detail, Alice maintains the ability to uncover the right home or property for any buyer and the ability to showcase a seller’s property for maximum exposure.

Because Alice has lived and worked in such areas as Atlanta, San Antonio, and Houston; she understands the importance of a good fit for families relocating to our town. Working in Houston for 12 years as a respected residential Realtor and 4 years prior as a commercial leasing agent; Alice has returned home to Wimberley and joined Keller Williams Realty. She is currently involved with the Wimberley Institute of Culture and Wimberley Civic Club. She has been married for over 32 years and is raising two young gentlemen. Alice enjoys spending time with her family and taking full advantage of the outdoors, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, decorating and gardening.

Alice sold two homes for me in the past year. Her prep for the house was staged perfectly for no charge and was excellent. House was sold in about a month and everything went smoothly and the new owner loves the home. The second home had been on the market for two years with no offers. I made a change to Alice and got an offer within a few months and she guided the buyers inspections and the solution to the issues identified and we closed by year end 2025. You will not find a more pleasant, communicative and hardworking agent that thoroughly knows the Wimberley market inside and out.

We worked with Alice for a very long time to find our dream property. She was extremely patient & diligent in keeping us in the loop on any new listings. She has extensive knowledge of the market in the area, as well general history & trends. She is very good at understanding what works for both spouses & finding comparable properties.

In the end, it was this knowledge & her connections that led us to our dream home. A friend of hers (agent at another Realtor) had a client that was getting ready to list their property in a few months. Alice enabled us to purchase the property before it was ever listed.

We will definitely use her for any future real estate transactions.
