In 2016, Alicia had just graduated from nursing school and purchased her first home.
“It was just me and my daughter at the time,” she said. “I was a single mom and had just started looking into the process. The more I learned, the more I realized, ‘Oh, I can do this!’ Although I wasn’t familiar with all the steps involved in buying a home, I embraced the challenge, and that experience sparked my interest in real estate.”
Using her own experience, Alicia even helped a friend navigate the process of purchasing her first home.
In nursing, Alicia has excelled in various roles, from being the director of an assisted living facility to working in ER and nursing homes. She currently works in home health.
“I’ve helped people through some of the toughest times in their lives, and now I’m ready to be part of their happier moments,” she said with a smile.
Alicia believes that the skills she honed in nursing – mastering time management and effective communication – serves her well in real estate.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ethan, and their two children, ages 4 and 12.
Her 12-year-old daughter is a super athlete, involved in four sports, and Alicia loves cheering her on in youth sports.
When asked why she chose Sluss, she mentioned being impressed by the company’s marketing and praised the high-quality training.
“I’ve also never heard a bad thing about any of your agents,” she added.
Originally from Missouri, Alicia moved to North Central Ohio in 2011 and has called it home ever since.
“I love the close-knit community and small-town feel,” she said.
