Alicia was our realtor as we sold our home in 2022, and was also our realtor in 2016 when we first moved to Michigan wanting to buy. Therefore, we'd like to offer our perspective to you on both experiences.

It was no coincidence that Alicia was our realtor through both of these events because we intentionally reached out to her in 2022 after such a positive experience in 2016. She was great through the buying process, so we kept her contact info and reconnected recently when deciding to sell. As we reflect on our 2016 experiences, the Oakland county real estate market was challenging for a buyer. Nice homes sold quickly and those that remained did not interest us. Alicia was steadfast and committed to continue searching the market to find just the right home for us. She was a very open and honest realtor, offering her POV whenever we asked. She would sometimes caution or advise us against an offering, even though it meant extending the search. In a nutshell, Alicia's knowledge, honesty, integrity and diligence were the main reasons for us reconnecting with her to sell. We did not expect to see such virtue in a realtor - it gave us a level of trust with her as we worked together.

In 2022, we gave her a call to ask if she would be our agent through the selling process. Admittedly the hot market in '21 and '22 made selling an easier task, but Alicia continued to act in our best interest. Her photographer and stager were skilled and experienced. Our online listings gave a great first impression and really showed the home at its best. She did her research and developed a recommended asking price that was frankly much higher than we would have imagined. Her research was accurate, because it attracted buyers and landed us a very good sale in record time. She helped us comb through offers and sort through the pros and cons of each. Her experience with VA and conventional loans, trends with contingencies and guarantees, and the local network of realtors provided valuable knowledge to help us make the best decisions. We would highly recommend Alicia as your real estate agent, regardless of whether you are buying or selling.

As a first-time home buyer, I couldn’t have asked for a better realtor than Alicia Cloutier. She was extremely responsive, even during the unprecedented market brought on by Covid-19.
