Real estate has always been a hot dinner table topic in the Sheerin household. It isn’t so much what they do, but who they are. Married to a builder for the better part of 10 years, Alison’s mother-in-law is an agent, her father-in-law an investor, and two brothers-in-law are lenders and builders, respectively. Suffice to say, Alison learned from the best in the business.
It’s no surprise then that the seasoned agent has helped orchestrate over 30 new builds to-date. Imbued with an eye for design and a penchant for details, her expertise in new construction is just one of the many gifts that makes her a peerless agent. Equal parts organized, proactive, and responsive, she’s an eternal optimist who has a way of making the nerve-racking process, dare we say, fun? As Alison often says, “Sometimes things don’t go as planned. You’ve got to have the ability to pivot and adapt.”
Renowned for prioritizing her clients’ best interests above all else, the cornerstone of her business has always been mutual respect and honesty. While she may have landed the Rising Star Award in 2017 and represented the Diamond Club Member’s top 4% of agents in 2020, it’s happy clients that keep her coming back year after year. For Alison, it goes beyond simply sales volume. She’s genuinely grateful for the honor of enhancing the lives of others through her work.
Residing in Scituate with her children, McKenna and Will, Alison is abundantly appreciative of the beaches, shops, and seaside restaurants her tightknit community provides. Never one to pass up a beach day at Minot, the Hatherly Country Club member spends winters skiing in Vermont. De facto Uber driver for her two kids, you’ll find the trio on sports fields and gyms across the South Shore on weekends.
