One of the biggest decisions we've ever made... Felt borderline simple. When I was looking for a realtor, a lot of people told me that picking a real estate agent doesn't really matter because all they do is give you an online portal and physically unlock doors for you. I have no idea who they were working with, but that couldn't be further from our experience with Alison! She not only walked us through every step of the process with us in as much detail as we needed, she also gave us really shrewd general home buying advice, connected us with many local experts, gave us Philly geography lessons, made sure all our house-related appointments were setup/organized/done on time, held our hand through negotiations with the seller...she even helped turn a potentially tricky last minute hiccup into a very smooth transition and got us to closing on time! I just can't imagine what buying this house would've been like without their help. They're super easy to worth with, and most importantly, very trustworthy.
Their whole team is also really communicative, so you always get a timely response. The couple times we went to view houses with their other showing agents when Alison wasn't available were also great. Took me far too long to write this, but I really wanted to recognize how great it was to work with Alison and her team. I was a first time homebuyer with quite limited knowledge when I found Alison. I appreciated the time she took in our first meeting to fully explain the process (educational and helpful!) and to establish great, open communication right from the jump. I went from feeling completely ignorant to a much more comfortable place, which made the entire process so much more enjoyable. She was extremely knowledgeable, which was invaluable as we were seeing various houses. She knew what to look for, and what to look out for, which allowed us to focus on what we cared about. I also made use of her recommendations for lenders and inspectors, both of which were as wonderful to work with as Alison et al. I was able to find a home I loved in what felt like no time at all, and everyone involved answered every question (large or small) quickly and thoroughly. I felt fully supported. That helped me avoid any stress or anxiety, which in turn let me enjoy what should be a fun thing. I will continue to recommend Alison and her team to anyone that will listen. 10/10, no notes.

Where to begin? If there is any one person who deserves full credit for why my husband and I are home owners today, it is Alison Simon. My husband and I bought our first home and without Alison this would have never happened. She is a sharp, knowledgeable, and intuitive real estate agent--and also, dare I say, quite a good counselor when needed! House-buying is always a complicated and nerve-wracking process, but ours was even more so as we had to begin the process while living abroad for our move back to the US. Despite having her desk full, she made sure to make herself available for us 24/7 whenever we needed help, guidance, and courage to move through the nerve-wracking steps. She is very insightful and caught on to the kind of house we wanted early on without us having to always point out our likes and dislikes. She customized our search along those lines making the search a lot less prolonged than it could have been in this housing market. She came up with creative solutions on our behalf whenever she could to make the process as smooth as possible. She also has deep connections to Philadelphia and generously connected us to people who might be helpful for us both in the process of buying a house and for future renovations. She also has a great team. Mary Byrne is an amazing support. We cannot recommend Alison Simon and her team more. We happily look forward to working with Alison again if and when the time comes to buy or sell a house in the future. Thank you, Alison!

She was an incredible resource throughout the entire process-- she gave me confidence that I could afford to buy and then she helped me refine my idea of exactly what I wanted. We looked for about a month until I think she had an even better idea of what I wanted than I did-- she found a home before it was listed, got me in to see it first, and we put an offer on it that night. Alison was always available, incredibly knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.

Alison and the Keller Williams team was great to work with when we purchased our first house. Alison was very accommodating to what we wanted to buy that fit our preferences and within our budget. She walked us through the entire process right from the beginning, which was very helpful as first time buyers. Even after purchase, I have reached out to her for assistance on certain issues and potentially helping my parents out with selling their house and she was always extremely welcoming and helpful. She was available to answer all of our many questions most nights and weekends, and she also recommended the lender we ended up using for our home loan, an insurance agent who got us excellent terms for our homeowner's coverage, and a competent, affordable home inspector. If you’re buying a home for the first time, Alison is the agent for you! After years of renting, my boyfriend and I decided it was time to buy a home…in the most competitive housing market in years. (lol) We were stressed to start our search, and didn’t even know where to begin with an agent. We got really lucky finding Alison! After reaching out to our neighborhood group for recos, we received an email from her about a property in Mt. Airy she could show us. After an intro call, we were really impressed by her knowledge of Philly, and overall expertise. (Most other agents we talked to warned us the market was crazy and tough, but we didn’t get those vibes from Alison at all!) She ended up showing us an amazing unlisted property in E. Mt. Airy (the first and only property we saw!) and we put an offer in on the house that night!
From the beginning of the process to the end, Alison was so helpful, responsive, and super down-to-earth. She made this very stressful process a breeze. From great recos (mortgage lender, home inspector, insurance) to things like the best radon mitigation companies to use, etc., we’re so lucky to have had her by our side every step of the way. Shoutout to her transaction coordinator, Kim, too! She was so nice and super responsive to my many emails!
We seriously can’t thank Alison enough, and we’re so grateful we found her when we did!
