Allie and Terry are incredible agents to work with, and we recommend them to everyone wholeheartedly! My wife and I are truly convinced that we would not have been able to get our dream home without them. Not only did they help us put together our best possible offer on paper, they also talked and worked with the selling agent behind the scenes to convince them we were the right buyers. They were advocates in every sense of the word, and went above and beyond what would be merely sufficient for others. Even after our offer was accepted and the bank was being difficult, they made sure to exert the right balance of pressure and confidence to help ease the anxieties of all parties, as well as make sure the deal went through. They even generously helped cover a few costs during closing. There were so many uncertainties throughout the whole process, but Allie and Terry’s support and advocacy were the true constants never in doubt.

I say this with absolute certainty: you could not ask for better realtors!!! Allie and Terry are not just experienced in the trade, they also understands the unique landscape of the Bay Area. They are responsive, communicative, proactive, organized, tactful, and well-connected.
As a first time home buyer, Allie and Terry made the entire process as manageable as possible, and helped my spouse and me understand every step of the process along the way. She was patient with us as we navigated the unfamiliar process and all of the paperwork that accompanied it, and was invaluable in getting our offer accepted on our dream home despite many other competitive offers. Before we even moved into our new home, we were already planning on working with Allie and Terry if we ever sell it. It is impossible to say enough good things about this duo- you could not possibly be in better hands!

Allie was our agent during the sale of our home in the summer of 2023, accompanied by her partner Terry. They are an incredible team and so great to work with! They are both outstanding agents with so much knowledge of Montclair and real estate in general. In addition, they have great connections with a variety of vendors in the region including general contractors and stagers which made the whole process so easy! Between Allie's incredible eye for artistic design and Terry's eye for detail, they really just made our house pop! On top of all of this though, they are also just both such kind and patient people and so great to work with during what is often a hectic time for people. I'm convinced you cannot find a better team for real estate in the Montclair or greater Oakland Hills area! I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again!

Allie and Terry were an amazing team to work with. Allie put so much positive energy into the process, handled all stumbling blocks with grace and optimism, was reassuring when anxieties would come up, etc. The prep work that went into our home getting it ready for sale was organized, smart and extremely effective. Allie went above and beyond my hopes/expectations for a smooth, problem-free process and showed so much skill during the actual sale process. Her confident energetic approach turned what could have been stressful experience into one that felt really good. The end result was incredible. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We LOVE Allie and Terry! They are a great team!

We had a 1031 exchange and had to buy within a specific time frame. We were looking all over; along the coast (Carmel to Mendocino), San Francisco, Napa, and Tahoe. Allie and Terry were incredible!

They belong to many different MLS’s so they have access to information in different areas and they have relationships with agents everywhere. They were able to find off-market and pre-market homes before agents who only serve in local areas, so that we had a chance to get into properties and offer first.

Through their relationships in every market, we found homes in each location we were interested in that would work for us.

Allie and Terry believe in serving people and they go the extra mile. They spent weekends in Tahoe seeing as many houses as possible with us, they went on tour all over the Bay to see what was available - it made it so much easier for us than if we had to work with different agents in each location. Their knowledge of multiple neighborhoods is extensive and thorough.

Their expertise is awesome. We ended up with a magical home on the bluffs over the ocean in Jenner that we won out of 8 offers and paid only 2k over the next highest offer! We also bought off market in Tahoe!

We would trust them over anyone. Allie and Terry can get you the BEST results ANYWHERE you want to go!

In a daunting market that is seeming unprecedented in it's competitiveness and nuance, we were very nervous to go through the process of buying our first home. Allie was a tremendous steward throughout the entire process and taught us everything that we needed to be successful in the market. She hopped on multiple zoom calls to walk us through how to read a disclosure packet which was invaluable in our decision making, specifically on some houses that we actually avoided offering on because of our new found acumen. She was a fierce advocate for our experience with balance to find something right in the middle of perfect vs what we could afford.. No easy task with our needs!

Lastly, she had small touches throughout the process that mattered and made all the difference. Most notably, dinner on our first night in the home that she sent to the house when she knew we were exhausted from moving! Very appreciative of Allie and would recommend her to anyone but especially first time buyers who need to learn the process.

Allie was the perfect realtor for us. She let us be the decision makers of what we wanted to see, was never pushy on anything, and never made it seem like we had unreasonable expectations of a house (even though we probably did).

In the end, we got the perfect house after Allie graciously spent months scheduling open houses with us. Allie helped us to find our first home in one of Oakland's most competitive neighborhoods during an extraordinary time. We connected with Allie and began our search just as the COVID-19 pandemic was causing all of the rules and processes to change. Allie seamlessly rolled with the changes making us feel completely at ease the entire time. As a first time homeowner, you want to be sure you are buying a house you absolutely love. While the process can be disheartening at times in such a competitive market, Allie never made us feel rushed and enthusiastically showed us every one of the houses we asked to see, seemingly making herself available to us at all times. She also did not waste our time on any houses that would not meet our needs. Beyond just showing us around, Allie knew the ins and outs of the neighborhoods and gave us excellent advice throughout the entire process. I just bought a Wonderful house with the help of Allie, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Allie was energetic, knowledgeable and attentive; she listened carefully and never pressured me to do anything I wasn’t prepared to do. She seemed to always be available, as if I was her only client (though I definitely was not). I had rather specific wants for a house, and she went beyond expectations to help me find what I was looking for; Allie helped me get my dream house sooner than I expected. Allie Pembleton is the most earnest, conscientious, and hardest-working realtor I have ever met. She took on my quest, to find a place to live in the Berkeley/North Oakland area on a frugal budget, as though it were her own. Even when I was recovering from a broken leg in the hospital, and due to complications, ended up stuck there for weeks, she noted how disappointed I was to have to stop the search and came up with a plan for us to continue. I began getting to do walk-throughs via Allie's facetime app. And they were great!

If you are a genuinely mean person, don't hire Allie. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and she will shame you into being nice, too, if you aren't already. I believe that she is motivated by the desire to help people, not by the desire for money.

The one area I wish she were a little less nice is in the area of negotiation. I felt she could be a little tougher with the other side. So as her client, you may need to be firm about what you want her to offer and where you do NOT want her to give in. And she WILL abide by your wishes if you are clear.

Allie is also firmly settled in the East Bay and active in the community. So, she knows all the people you might need in terms of contractors and other service providers. Boy, is that convenient!

I highly recommend Allie for your real estate needs. You won't regret hiring her. I am thrilled with the house we found for me and the price, and I couldn't be happier. Allie and I developed a genuine friendship during our work together, and I look forward to staying in touch with her and seeing her successes continue.
