Alyce Wright

As an avid sailor, the charms of life in coastal Rhode Island persuaded Alyce to return to the US after living and working in the UK for over 15 years. After buying a vacation home in Newport in 2004, Alyce became convinced that she wanted to make our wonderful area her permanent home.
Alyce brings her extensive client relationship, financial analysis, negotiating and deal making skills to her real estate career. With over 10 years’ experience working at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, Alyce has a strong track record of meeting – even exceeding – the needs of discerning clients.
Alyce has a degree in Economics from Harvard College.
While in the UK, Alyce raced in numerous competitive sailing regattas and participated in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. She continues this passion here in coastal Rhode Island and enjoys getting out on Narragansett Bay and beyond whether it is to race or cruise. In 2010, she competed in the Newport to Bermuda race.
Quickly establishing roots in Rhode Island, Alyce is a member of the Harvard Club of Rhode Island, New York Yacht Club, Ida Lewis Yacht Club, Junior League of Rhode Island, the Preservation Society of Newport County, the Redwood Library and Athenaeum, and the Newport Art Museum.
Alyce served two terms as Treasurer of the Newport County Board of Realtors, was on the Executive Committee and served for six years on the Board of Directors. She also served on the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Board of Directors and is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors. Alyce is a licensed Realtor in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Alyce Wright was honored to be chosen the 2016 REALTOR of the Year by the Newport County Board of Realtors. The REALTOR of the Year is awarded based on Realtor spirit, activities in civic affairs, activities at the Newport County Board of Realtors, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and last but not least business accomplishments.
Alyce was also awarded a Five Star Award for six consecutive years in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Less than 2% of Rhode Island agents are named winners of the Five Star Award for 2025.
