Amanda is a native of Mentor, OH. She attended The Ohio State University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, then going on to Kent State University to pursue graduate degrees in School Psychology. Amanda worked as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools for 4 years prior to having children.
Amanda is currently serving as the secretary on the Executive Board of the Orchard Hollow Elementary School PTA. She is a member of the Painesville United Methodist Church and is also actively involved there. A big part of Amanda’s life has always been music. She began attending The Ohio State University on scholarship as a trumpet performance major. Although she eventually switched career paths, music is still an important part of her life. She has maintained her own private trumpet studio in the past and currently performs at local area churches.
After living in the Twinsburg/Hudson, OH area for a period of time, Amanda now resides back in Mentor with her husband and two children. She joined RE/MAX Haven Realty in 2017 as a member of the Amy Pendergrass Team. Amanda finds great joy in helping others and uses her empathic listening skills to match people with their specific needs.
