About Amanda
When it comes to real estate transactions, Amanda believes there is always a win/win scenario for everyone involved. Sometimes it just takes a little creativity, communication, and compassion. She loves to facilitate the process! Helping OTHERS get what THEY want is a meaningful and gratifying experience.
Amanda is truly enjoying living out her dreams in Western North Carolina, and she enjoys helping others realize their own as well. She chose a career in the housing industry because she loves people and has a passion to see families and individuals thrive. After successfully acting as the general contractor while building her own personal home here in the mountains, Amanda’s interest for real estate and house design increased even more.
Amanda has always felt it important and fulfilling to be actively involved in the community in which she lives. She has enjoyed serving as a board member in my local Homeowner's Association and is also dedicated to her professional organization as a member of the Haywood County Board of REALTORS.
Amanda comes from a long line of Educators and holds a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist as well as a Bachelor's Degree dually certified in both Special and Elementary Education. As a child and teenager, Amanda was able to travel to Central America during the summer months assisting with humanitarian efforts to improve the quality of life for others which helped her develop a more global perspective. Everyone deserves a place to call "home."
You may often hear her say that it is an easy task for her to promote the laid-back mountain culture that she enjoys, as well as the active lifestyle that all four seasons provide here in Western North Carolina. For recreation, Amanda often joins her husband and daughters for energetic mountain activities such as hiking, camping, biking, and snowboarding.
