About Amanda

Amanda Powell is the team leader for The A Team with Long and Foster. She began her Real Estate career in 2010 in East Texas. After relocating to Maryland in early 2012 Amanda received her Maryland Real Estate license and began working for Long and Foster. Diving into helping families Amanda was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2013 and Agent of the Year in 2014. Since 2013 she has received designations including ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), MILRES (Military Residential Representative), Rental Specialist and MRP (Military Relocation Professional) designation. Amanda also completed her Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Marketing in the Fall of 2012.

We were looking for a realtor that was going to find what we wanted not what they wanted to show us, Amanda was recommend to us on Facebook through a site where we lived and meeting her for the first time we knew this was going to go smooth. Amanda went above and beyond what she had to do, along with taking us out of our perimiter, but nothing worked for us. She took our list and tried it all in houses for us to look at, but we came across only a few, she went another way with suggesting a new build and we were SOLD! What impressed us the most was how fast she was taking us all over the place to look and look, we did 5 in one day, if she didn't know the answer she would get back to us ASAP! I would recommend Amanda to friends, which we have! Amanda does well with what shes given, also just staying up to par with the housing market out there. Thanks Amanda for all you did for us!
