About Amanda
Are you sailing the seas of buying or selling your home? Are those seas tossing you around in frustration or confusion?
Well, good news, as your agent, I believe in service over self, and would be honored to help you navigate those waves towards whatever your destination may be.
From our office in White Plains, Maryland, we are located forty minutes from our Nation’s Capital, thirty minutes from Andrews Air Force Base, thirty-five minutes from the National Harbor, and an hour from NAS Patuxent River.
More specifically, my professional expertise is found in Southern Maryland, including, but not limited to; White Plains, Waldorf, St. Charles, LaPlata, Bel Alton, Newburg, Port Tobacco, Welcome, Nanjemoy, Marbury, Indian Head, and Bryan’s Road.
As your agent, I am able to guide you with numerous on-line and in-hand resources, various marketing tools and an extensive network. If you’re selling your home, I would love to assist with a FREE market analysis, which is where I would use comparable sold listings to help you determine the accurate market value of your home. Another tool that benefits you, is my City Sponsorship with Homes.com. All of my listings are featured on the first pages of anyone searching Homes.com for southern Maryland sales. A plethora of people on this popular site will see your listing when they visit this site. This tool is what separates me from other agents.
On another note, one of my greatest joys is being affiliate with Homes for Heroes and Home Partners. The Homes for Heroes is a program to give back to military, law-enforcement, first-responders, nurses, and teachers, while Home Partners, is geared toward helping renters become owners with a Rent-to-Own process. Both programs I brag about often.
Throughout the years, our brokerage has been recognized for our professional success. The following are only a few of these recognitions:
•Office of the Year in 2019 by EXIT Mid-Atlantic, Region Division
•Superior Brokerage of the Year in 2018 by EXIT International
•Broker of the Year in 2017 by EXIT International
•REAL Trends Nation’s Best Top Brokerage in 2020
•Southern Maryland’s 2020 Top Real Estate Firm
•Charles County Rookie of the Year Six Times; 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2017
To start wrapping it all up, buying and selling your home is very personal. So, here are some fun, personal facts about me:
I am a proud daughter to my retired military and government-employed parents. So, I am familiar with the nature of frequent moving in this sphere. I am also a proud wife to a first responder for Arlington Fire Department.
I have lived in Southern Maryland for more than 15 years, attended Westlake High School in Waldorf, and the community college in LaPlata. Therefore, I am familiar with the local school systems.
Beyond all that, I am an international, published author. My publications are my autobiography, A Double Shot of Redemption, and my short poem books: SOS Poetry and SOS Poetry 2. I enjoy doing spoken word at any open mic in the DMV area, as well as painting, and décor crafting/refurbishing. Due to my publications, I have been given many opportunities to connect with the community, and by community, I mean the politicians and business owners, laborers, stay-at-home moms, the homeless, the addicts, and many more. I deeply love serving in my community.
With all that said, are you ready to sail these seas together!? I look forward to connecting with you.
