About Amy Brooks
Amy is naturally drawn to careers centered around interiors after growing up in High Point, North Carolina, commonly referred to as the “furniture capital of the world.” Surrounded by a community built around the home furnishings industry, it led to her successful career in textile and furniture sales in tandem with interior design before she decided to obtain her real estate license and join Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby’s International Realty.
After attending Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia, and graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Amy’s career in textiles, design, and home furnishings allowed her to travel extensively throughout the world. Her travels led to her career with London-based designer Nina Campbell before starting her interior design business. After 25 years, Amy was ready for a change and decided to utilize her passion for home projects and unique eye for design, which led her to pursue a career in real estate.
Amy and her husband, Buck, live in Raleigh and enjoy visiting their two grown daughters, who live in Nashville, Tennessee, and Brooklyn, New York. Amy enjoys staying active in her community and is passionate about the arts, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and now serves on the board for the North Carolina Museum of History Associates in Raleigh. Amy and Buck are active participants at White Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Amy is recognized in her professional and personal circles for her loyalty, commitment, and limitless energy to do all she can for her clients, family, and friends. She is committed to tirelessly advocating for her clients’ big-picture goals to the most minute details to provide a thorough and thoughtful home buying or selling experience.
