Amy Brown

Amy Brown is an Asheville local having lived in the city since 1984. An avid local blogger and author, she has a passion for sharing stories about the transformation of Asheville from an agricultural center to the living art museum that you see today. She published her second book in 2023, a combination of regional history, Asheville neighborhood illustrations, and highlights about mountain living. A graduate of Northeastern University and the University of Miami, she has degrees in both Accounting and Business contract law, paralegal studies. Amy has sold over $16 Million in real estate annually as a solo broker and is now expanding her brokerage firm to encompass a lifestyle and entertainment division including media production. Their brokerage, Selling AVL, currently serves over 2000 clients across the United States and consistently ranks in the top 10% of brokerages in the region for service excellence.
