Amy joined Vanguard Properties in 2018. She brings a unique background to her career as a Realtor. After graduating from Montgomery High School, she pursued a Bachelor's Degree at UC Davis (Go Aggies!) and then a Master's Degree in Pediatric Nursing at UCSF. She works just one day per week as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner spend the rest of her days in real estate. Amy loves the combination of Real Estate and Nursing. It may sound like an odd combination, but both fields are built upon the same tenets: knowledge, trust, and human connection. Amy always been passionate about residential real estate and the idea of what makes a home. She works doggedly for her clients to help them reach their real estate dreams, whether it is assisting with preparation and staging to get top dollar in the sale of one's home or helping buyers stand out in this competitive market and navigate the hurdles of becoming property owners. She works alongside her father-in-law, Jim Famini, who is a well-respected veteran of the real estate industry. Amy was honored to be named "Rookie of the Year" for Vanguard Properties for 2018.
Sonoma County is Amy home, and she never wants to live anywhere else. The Mediterranean climate, natural beauty, and most of all the strong sense of community are second to none. She met her husband while they were both CIT's at Camp WA-Tam in Howarth Park and they have been together ever since. Her husband and she live in Rincon Valley with their two school-aged boys and two sweet dogs. Amy spends a lot of time volunteering at her children's school, and she is most often found on the weekends baking, showing houses to clients, or cheering for her kids on the sidelines of whatever sport is in season.
