After almost 40 years of service my wife and I chose Charlotte, NC as our new home. There were a number of reasons we why we chose Charlotte - one was that we have life-long friends in the area who are in the real estate market. We've known Amy and Vic for many years. We served in the Army together, raised our children together and eventually both moved on to life after the Army. As soon as we knew Charlotte was the place for us we went directly to Vic and Amy to help us find our home. We could not imagine a better experience. We started the process last spring. Amy expertly guided us through a very tumultuous market. She spent time truly understanding what we wanted in terms of community, experience and of course the house itself. This is the most money I've spent on anything in my life. I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a bit of anxiety, but it was Amy that very deftly, confidently and and with tender love and care helped us find our forever home. I was amazed at how hard she worked to ensure that we didn't settle and how patient she was as she showed us house after house after house. We have and will continue to recommend Vic and Amy to our family and friends.

Vic and Amy Petrenko were amazing during our entire house hunt and purchase process. We were very unsure of what we were looking for, including house size and location. We were coming in on weekends to look, and Amy demonstrated tremendous flexibility spending long hours showing us any homes that we might be interested in. In a very bold move during the beginning of COVID-19, we put our house up for sale with Amy and Vic Petrenko. Knowing what a troubling time it was, our expectations of selling quickly were nonexistent. Much to our surprise and to the excellent marketing abilities of the Petrenkos’ we had an offer within 5 days. With the guidance of Vic and Amy, we soon had a contract and a very smooth closing. Without, their expert knowledge and the kindness they afforded us in this trying time, we would not be settled in our new home that they also helped us procure at The Watermark Lake Norman.

We made a cross country move from IN to NC in July 2020. We don't know anyone in the city, and all this happened during a pandemic. The potential for stress was through the roof because of all of the circumstances. Amy carefully listened to what we needed in terms of location, desired schools, etc. She showed us many homes, and even helped us understand the costs needed to address repairs before we made offers. She was responsive, too. I don't think I ever called her and had my call sent to voicemail. We ended up with a lovely home, and even though there were some documented misrepresentations from the seller, Amy made sure these were addressed. She has also been helpful so that our family can connect with others in the area which is not easy during COVID-19 and a remote start to the school year. She and her husband have raised two children so they know the concerns that parents have, and can advise. I feel we got our house for a good price, and we are happy. I would recommend Amy to anyone.
