About Amy
Amy’s heart has always been at home. Actually, her heart has been at many homes… 14 to be exact! Before she moved with her family to Cape Coral, Florida, Amy’s husband, Gary, was a home builder back in their home state of Illinois. This meant they moved a lot, but she always welcomed the opportunity to scout new properties. The “hunt” excited Amy, and her knack for always finding places that suited her family fulfilled her.
Amy loves working with people. Finding solutions that work and make her customers happy has always been the best part of her professional life. Whether in her work in marketing and sales for a commercial sign company or in her own fashion boutique in Springfield, Illinois, customer satisfaction was always Amy’s highest priority.
Her family’s move to Cape Coral, Florida in 2011 meant finding a new home. It also meant the time was right for something new professionally. After finding their dream home and settling close to the Gulf, Amy decided to combine her house hunting and customer service skills to become a real estate agent. She felt like she’d found her own ticket to paradise when her family got settled in the area. With the experience she’d gained as a Midwestern transplant in mind, Amy knew she could bring a great perspective to customers considering the same kind of move. As someone who has spent a great deal of time exploring the area in search of a home, she also brings a fresh perspective to clients who have been in Southwest Florida for years.
Now a Real Estate Sales Associate with Cape Premier Realty, Amy works to find the perfect homes for purchase and short- and long-term rentals for her clients. She is not a high-pressure salesperson; she believes picking the right place is a very personal thing and finding what’s right takes time.
