I cannot say enough about how passionately Amy worked to find us the perfect home in 2012. My wife and I first came to her determined to find a good-sized lot on which to build -- it had to be close enough for an easy commute to Cool Springs, but far enough out for us to ride our bikes and where my band to play loud late at night without someone calling the cops. Amy came up with a dozen locations that met our needs, and we put together an offer. Then came trouble. The lot was owned by a loose consortium of family members who dithered over every item. Amy worked through all of this until everyone agreed on a price and details, but when we finally did a perk test on the land it proved unsuitable for the size of the house we needed. In spite of the contract, the family members balked at us backing out on the purchase of a lot that would not fit our home. Amy fought tooth and nail to get our money back, all the while finding us new options on which we might build the house we had planned. By the time Amy had fixed this issue, we had begun to despair. Nonetheless, Amy kept looking. She found us a new home in a lovely subdivision that almost met all of our criteria, and we were about ready to put together an offer. Then, incredibly, Amy found the answer where we never would have thought to look: A home on six acres near Leiper's Fork, overlooking a beautiful wooded valley. We quickly put forth an offer, and it was accepted. Things seemed to be moving well until the mortgage company dropped the ball, and we found ourselves in danger of having to push the closing date and maybe having the deal fall thru. Amy went into fighting mode again, however, and bullied the mortgage company -- one of the largest in the nation -- to get things back on track. We closed on time and moved into our enchanting new home in time for Christmas. Amy is one of those rare people who obviously loves what she does -- getting people into the kind of home in which they can realize their dreams. Thanks to her, we are now living ours. Robert Hendry
