It has been almost an entire life’s journey to get to this point. One could say that the clothing business runs through Andre's blood as his paternal grandfather started something which would go on for two more generations and beyond hopefully. While his grandfather was in the textile manufacturing and his father was in apparel manufacturing, André has always been in the client facing retail environment.
Some of his earliest memories from his childhood were sorting through buttons and learning to assemble sewing machines in his father’s factories in Honduras, to getting his first bespoke sport coat to wear to his brother's first communion from Charlie the local tailor. It was a double breasted sand & brown Prince of Wales fabric. Or in Miami, at his first jobs at top menswear boutiques in Coral Gables to his NYC fashion career.
Those experiences set him on the course to study the business of Fashion in Italy at Istituto Marangoni di Design in Milan. Here he deepened his knowledge about fabrics and their construction, design, and merged what he had learned in 4 years of working in the business to the theory from his scholastic environment.
While the daytime was dedicated to growing his knowledge in the business, during this time, his nights were dedicated to the nightlife business where he built an incredible business catering to the international communities living and passing thru Milan.
He returned after 6 years to the USA where he worked at Brunello Cucinelli & Berluti as a manager. Upon his return to Miami, he was looking for a break from the industry and turned to another client-facing opportunity as the concierge at the Ritz Carlton in Bal Harbour. After 4 wonderful years, he was determined to get back to what he loves but this time pouring himself into something that was his own.
A career full of client-facing and service-oriented roles has led the way to many clients becoming friends and many friends becoming family. Welcome to the Fayad Family.
