Andrea was our realtor for both the purchase and subsequent sale of our home in the Fort Hunt area of Alexandria, VA. Housing inventory was extremely limited when we purchased our home in 2016, but Andrea assured us that we would find the right home for our family. She made it crystal clear from the beginning that she did not want us to ‘settle’ on our home. Andrea carefully and thoughtfully listened and identified the aspects that were most important to us which was illustrated in the properties she selected. Her personal attention helped us locate a magnificent property that exceeded our expectations. Andrea’s consistent availability and timely communication throughout the process made it apparent that we were a priority, and that her goal was to find the home that fit us best. Additionally, Andrea has extensive personal experience with investing, renovating, and managing properties. This gives her a special perspective on each home’s features that are unique or concerning. Her insight and advice were unbelievably helpful to us during both our transactions and renovations.

Andrea kept in touch with us throughout the seven years that we lived in our home and when we decided to sell our home in spring of 2022, we did not hesitate to call her. She updated us on the current state of the market, answered all of our questions, and helped us make preparations to list our house. We canceled our move just before listing our property, but that did not phase Andrea. She understood the situation, reassured us that it would work out with perfect timing, and provided zero pressure to proceed with the sale. In spring of 2023, the opportunity to move presented itself quickly and unexpectedly and within a month our house was on the market. Andrea expertly guided us through the entire process with no added stress. She handled all the marketing and staging details which allowed us to focus on our move. When the movers’ schedule was extended across a weekend, she gladly volunteered to oversee the final day of our packout so we could travel out of state to our new residence without having to return to Alexandria. This is just one small example of Andrea going above and beyond with compassion and heart because she truly cares about her clients.

As a military family, we have had the privilege of working with some phenomenal realtors. We’re currently working with a great team as we look for our next house. However, we can say with all honesty, and we do not say this lightly: Andrea is, and will remain, the best realtor we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She has an authentic love of the process and truly enjoys being an active participant in the unfolding story of her clients and helping them achieve their dreams. She is a person that makes an impact on you, and someone that we are fortunate enough now to call our friend.

When I went to sell my home of more than 20 years I was petrified it would take forever. I was also concerned I wouldn’t get what I financially needed to get from the sale as the market had shifted, rates were up and it was winter.

I turned the entire process over to Andrea because I had already left the area. She took full responsibility and I trusted her completely. Not all real estate transactions are created equal. Andrea has the uncanny ability to see that and quickly laid out a plan for what my home needed to be successfully sold. She understood my emotional turbulence of parting with a home full of memories and managed my expectations, concerns and was always able to talk me through the process or answer any questions I had. What I learned while working with Andrea is that she is a highly respected member of the real estate community, her ethics are beyond reproach and her work ethic is unrelenting and she is always smiling!

What is there not to say about Andrea Courduvelis.
As a first-time home buyer, I was overwhelmed and intimidated by the idea of making a purchase as serious as this. To be frank I was terrified. The first time I met with Andrea, I can honestly say all of that melted away. She put everything into perspective and really took the time to answer all my questions and introduce me to the ins and outs of purchasing a home. She made me feel extremely comfortable and at no point in time did I feel embarrassed to ask a question, no matter how basic the question may have been. When we were searching for a home, roughly 9/21-5/22 the market was very hot, and houses were moving quickly. Andrea took every second she had to make sure that we were the first ones to see the property and that our offer was strong. What point of note that was amazing about her is that you truly felt like you were buying a home TOGETHER. Andrea always displayed extreme knowledge of location as well as genuine structural knowledge. If we walked into a house and she felt a dip in the floor, she would let me know as well as give me a near accurate estimate of how much it would be to fix! AND work that into my budget!!! Unbelievable. Working together there was never any instance where I felt like she was just trying to make a sale. If the house wasn’t right, she would let me know but at the same time support me if I wanted to look further. Andrea is honest, caring, hardworking, polite, and cutthroat when needed! I can’t recommend working with her enough. After many, many showings we finally found the right house. My dream house, and Andrea knew it. It was 6pm on a Friday afternoon and she called me up and said, “I found it”. She instantly set up a showing with the selling agent and got us in. Walking through the house for the first time I can honestly say that she was almost as excited as I was, and she saw that. She went home and drafted up a strong offer letter and even helped me write a letter to the seller. We submitted the offer and heard back within the hour. WE GOT IT! Prior to all of this she introduced me to several ~loan officers~ and made sure that I clicked with the right one. So, we called the loan officer and closed in 2 weeks. Believe me when I say Andrea was there EVERY step of the way. Making sure I never overpaid, making sure that I knew about home inspections and contingencies, and even walked to closing with me. Andrea and I became great friends and keep in contact often! After this whole process, I am writing this review, sitting on my couch in the living room of my dream home drinking a cup of coffee and thinking everyday how in disbelief I am in that I am in my dream home, all thanks to Andrea.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Andrea! Our intention was to sell our home quickly at the height of the market and we had to move fast. In Andrea we found more than just an agent, we found a partner who was able to recommend quality contractors and provide guidance on what type of upgrades to make.

Our family has been looking for a house on the Chesapeake Bay for two years. The agents we worked with were showing us the places that we basically found. I ran into Andrea at a friend's home and after hearing our story, she invited my wife and I to her home in Leonardtown.

Long story short, we officially asked Andrea to help us on March 3. She made sure we knew what was coming soon and took every phone call and answered every question. Andrea counseled us on how to buy in this over heated market and we beat out 24 other bids (some higher) to bind a contract on April 13th.

Andrea is not only a consummate professional, she is extremely knowledgeable of the local Alexandria and greater Washington, DC real estate markets. I cannot rave enough about Andrea and how helpful she was in the sale of my rental condo in Arlington, VA. I live in Florida so a remote sale was something I was not looking forward to, especially considering there were some renovations needed to make the property marketable. She made appropriate recommendations on how to prepare the home for sale and made recommendations on what the market demanded. The house was a 70+year old home that had little to no upgrades. We assessed my deceased father's home and made a plan for renovating the house to make it marketable. Once complete, the house was marketed, active and had 2 viable full price contracts within 24 hours. Andrea and Donna kept me informed every step of the way and were always available for questions.
